Immigration work normally takes on average anywhere between 4-60 hours of more. We don’t charge hourly rates with immigration matters and prefer to charge a fixed fee so that you are aware of how much costs you will incur from the outset.


What Services are included:


  • Discussing your circumstance in detail so that we can advise you on the most appropriate application to lodge and also presenting you with other available options
  • Advising you on the requirements of the Immigration Rules and also whether you meet the criteria of the Immigration Rules
  • If, for whatever reason, you do not meet the criteria we would advise you on whether or not this could be overcome.
  • Considering the evidence provided by yourself.
  • Helping you obtain further evidence (if necessary)
  • Preparation of the relevant application and also submitting said application on your behalf
  • Attending the Home Office interview with and also giving you clear advice before hand
  • Advising you on the outcome of the application and, if need be, any further steps that need to be taken


In case of appeal proceedings –


  • Discussing the refusal letter and also confirming whether or not there are merits in appealing the decision
  • Advising you about the requirements of the Immigration Rules and also if Home Office have made their decision in accordance with those rules
  • Reviewing and considering the evidence which you have provided
  • Preparation of the Grounds of Appeal to be lodged at the Courts
  • Preparation of the Court Bundle
  • Helping you obtain further evidence if necessary
  • Attending the hearing and also giving you clear advice before hand


Disbursements


Disbursements are costs relating to your matter and are payable to a third party. We pay out disbursements on your behalf to make the process smoother.


Typical disbursements that are paid out in these matters are:


  • Interpreters Fees (on average between £20-£30 per hour)
  • Independent expert reports for example a report from a medical expert
  • If we are required to attend a hearing or interview, we will charge you a disbursement in respect of our mileage/travel expenses

The prices quoted in the table above are in respect of our legal fees and do not include:


  • Home Office Fees
  • Court Fees
  • Any external counsel of your choice
